DE&I...What does it have to do with me?

Discussion, breakout sessions, partnered/group activities, and self-assessments will be utilized to provide strategies and tangible items to improve DE&I in any team or organization. Each participant will receive a digital workbook to capture notes and reinforce learning objectives. The course embeds practical application and moments for reflection to strengthen the implementation in STEM workplace settings.

After this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Define systemic racism and its impact on STEM
• Understand the differences between diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) and why all three matter
• Gain clarity on how DE&I benefits STEM fields
