About the Event
The F2M founders decided to create the Can you hear us now? series after the tragic murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Amaud Arbery, and many more ignited protests around the world demanding an equitable justice system. These instances not only showed the inequities that the Black community faced at the hands of the justice system, but also cast a bright light on the many systemic disparities that exist across other aspects of life such as the housing market, the education and healthcare systems, and in the workplace. The series features a live conversation with professional Black women as they discuss their experience with racial injustices in the workplace. The goal is to allow women to share their experiences and provide strategies for improving the overall climate within organizations.
Our goal is to provide an open space for professional Black women to express their thoughts/feelings on the current climate and how it’s impacting their work and interactions with colleagues. The purpose is to educate, inform, and inspire changes that support the success of Black women everywhere.
